From my 10+ years of experience in buying, restoring and selling classic trucks and cars, eBay has become my best resource. Right now I have started the database off with listings from eBay, since this is where I have found the best deals. Soon additional resources will be added. There are lots of places selling old trucks, from antiques to relatively recent vintage trucks.  OldTrucksForSale.net organizes lists of old trucks for sale, and allows you to easily search through them by model, year, and soon you will even be able to search by zip or postal code.

Look for a detailed description of any old trucks you're thinking about buying.  You should see information about the make and model, date of manufacture, condition of the body and engine, as well as prices and any other small details you should know.  You can usually  get a better deal online than you can shopping locally.

Remember that some models can be very expensive - trucks tend to go up in value as the years go by.  That means that today's inexpensive old trucks for sale could be collector's items a few years down the road.

It's hard to predict which trucks will go up in value, but usually the older they are, the more they're worth.  Trucks made in the 1930s are worth more than models from the 1950s or 1960s.  However, there are exceptions.  Some few old trucks from the 1970s are worth a reasonable amount of money.

If you are a Truck hobbyists like me, you take a lot of pleasure in maintaining your old trucks.  If you love vintage trucks, think about starting a collection, or adding to an existing one by looking online.  I am building this site to work in a way that is useful to me. Just as the actual classic trucks for sale section, the vintage truck parts section will start off based on eBay, since this is where I buy most of my parts. I will soon be adding a online parts resource section that will compare online retailers for the best price, customer service, and shipping. You can almost always get a better deal, and more section by buying online then, at a local retail store. Just search by type of part, or part by truck make to find the vintage truck part you are looking for.

Sellers are moving to online ads because listing is less expensive than using the newspaper, plus they'll reach a larger audience.  That means your chance of seeing a great truck you might otherwise not have heard of is fairly good.  Take a few moments to search online - you could find the truck you've always dreamed of!
